About Edwards Motors Kempsey

Founded in 1969 by Wilf Edwards, Edwards Motors began as a small workshop and petrol station servicing the village and surrounding areas. Providing customers with excellent workmanship and service resulted in the business quickly building a large and loyal customer base, enabling growth and an evolution in to offering vehicle sales.

Establishing an initial dealership relationship with Mazda in 1976, and becoming a mutli-franchise dealer in 1999 with the addition of Mitsubishi, Edwards became a facility that offered a range of new and used vehicles, along with servicing, maintenance, bodywork, and support.

Wilf’s son Adrian took over the family business in 1998 with a continued ambition to providing choice and value to customers and a drive to grow the products and services the business could offer.

Edwards Motors have held dealership status’ over the years with brands such as Daihatsu, Hyundai, and most recently, Volvo. We’re now proud to be able to focus on our two most long-standing dealer relationships with Mazda and Kia, providing specialist sales knowledge and expert servicing and maintenance, including fully featured showrooms and workshop facilities with the very latest in diagnostic and repair equipment.

Our site now spans appx. 6 acres, and having celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2019, the Edwards family is looking forward to continuing to support our customers into the future.

Wilf’s original vision and dedication to providing excellent customer service is a value that the entire Edwards family has carried through our history, and we’re proud to continue this legacy.
